Eddie Boswell, County Commissioner Eddie Boswell was first elected to the Alamance County Board of Commissioners in 2008 to 2012. He was elected again in 2014, to serve a two-year term which expires December 2016. Commissioner Boswell is a native of Alamance County. He is a graduate of Western Alamance High School and Elon University with a B.A. in Business Administration. He has had a lengthy career in the building industry as a NC licensed general contractor and realtor. He also is active in Lakeview Community Church Music Ministry alongside his wife of 20 years Gail Boswell. Commissioner Boswell has actively served this community on numerous boards and committees for over 20 plus years which include: United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Burlington Kiwanis Club, Alamance-Caswell Homebuilders and the NC Home Builders Association as a State Director. He has a passion for Alamance County and would like to see this county move forward in preparing our future leaders through the betterment of our educational resources, providing employment for all, and preserving the wonderful heritage or our county. Commissioner Boswell represents the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards: Alamance Partnership for Children; Economic Development Committee; Transportation Advisory Committee; Piedmont Triad Regional Council Board of Delegates; Piedmont Triad Regional Council Executive Committee; County Facilities Committee; Insurance Committee; Personnel Committee and Chairman of Piedmont Food And Agricultural Processing Committee.
